An on-line magazine for children from ages 5 to 12 years of age that is "Lots of Fun and Kid–Safe". • Designed and constructed a web site for a prepress/thermal engraving company in Arleta, CA. • Designed and constructed www.rroslund.com, my portfolio online, filled with lots of interesting and interactive samples of my web site design and building abilities, Photoshop art, gif animations and lots of examples of print work. Please, take a look around. • Designed and produced on a per project basis 4/C, spot color and B&W print advertising and direct mail materials for three well known cosmetic makeup companies and studios. • Produced direct mail catalogs, brochures, package inserts and display advertising for two companies that produce and sell custom handcrafted leather products related to the firearms industry. • Designed and composed Asphalt Angels Magazine an 88- page upscale woman's motorcycle magazine. I worked directly with editorial and advertising sales to bring the publication from a newsletter-style format to a serious magazine. • Digital photo retouching and custom photo work for custom photography shops in Burbank and Glendale, CA. • Developed corporate identity for an imaging products company in Northridge, CA, to bring them to the forefront with competition in their field. I was responsible for the advertising portion of the magazine layout, coordinating with advertising sales and the traffic department, solving problems in regards to advertisers' supplied film, general web pre-press and proofing of each monthly issue. I also set up and managed the Reprint Division and turned it into a viable and profitable part of Avcom Publishing, which was done on a client / advertiser inquiry basis for sheet fed offset presses. I also coordinated special print projects with the merchandising and marketing departments. 1992 – 1993. Freelance Graphics and Print Production. Nationwide Shopper Systems, Inc., Burbank, CA A direct marketing / publishing company where I was responsible for all the scheduled production, which included B&W and 4/C advertising for major magazines with a yearly circulation of over 300 million; Direct marketing packages, co-op mailings and package inserts with a yearly circulation of over 133 million; Plus our own catalog division, with a yearly circulation of over 15 million. I worked directly with the media buyer, client services, print buyers and printers on the development and production/design of press templates to suit our various needs and film delivery. 1985 – 1986.
